Leadership Coaching
Leadership coaching can be an incredibly powerful investment in yourself or your organization to bolster your confidence, challenge your perspective, get out of your own way and build resilience for the hard road ahead.
You may think you can go it alone, but navigating the journey ahead of you with a coach can be a powerful wayfinder.
Together, we will anticipate the scenarios that may cause stumbles. With provocative questions and curiosity, I walk alongside you to consider your path ahead, and to step forward towards it with purpose, balance and strength.
A coaching journey requires a six-month minimum commitment; frequency can range between meeting once a week to once a month. Coaching helps you think deeply over a period of time and see incremental shifts and changes towards finding and shining your light.
Some of the tools we will use together:
Dare to Lead™, Positive Psychology, Enneagram, Start with Why, Trauma Informed Coaching, Emotional Agility, Time Reclamation, and many more..
Burnout Coaching
Are you exhausted and overwhelmed? Leadership can be lonely, and the honest truth is that only YOU can make the choices to recover from burnout. This journey begins with some frank assessments, and then your journey is supported with tools like mindfulness, emotional intelligence, trauma-informed care, and practical tools that support your resilience for the long-term.
Accountability and Planning Coaching
We start with aligning (or identifying) your short - and long-term strategies with your intrinsic values and elevating what holds you back. You’ll find traction and momentum towards your strategic goals to grow your capacity and your successes. The journey is 6 months, with a 3 hour retreat at the beginning to crystalize your goals and path ahead.
Nonprofit Leader Coaching
The nonprofit industry is noble, yet rough on our soul (and sometimes rough on the paycheck). We will partner together to grow your leadership skills and evolve your journey towards one you will be inspired by.
Courage Coaching
This style of coaching is for anyone who wants to build their capacity to have tough conversations, build trust, bounce back from failure, and walk their talk. Courage and vulnerability go together -- no one has ever embarked on hard things without risk of failure or uncertainty. We all need to have hard conversations, and they should be more frequent than we think. There’s no reason to “go it alone.”
Dare to Lead Coaching
Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals. The most significant finding from Dr. Brené Brown’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable, and invites us all to be more courageous in our communities, our relationships, our families, and our workplaces. These skills, practices, and tools are needed more than ever, to support brave leaders and build more courageous cultures. This journey can be once a week or with different frequency, but requires 12 sessions to receive a Dare to Lead™ designation.
Testimonials
“I've been working through Dare to Lead leadership curriculum with the amazing Kris McRea this year. It has truly changed my life for the better. Coming from a history of trauma and an ACE score of 5, I have lots of coping mechanisms that helped me survive rough times. Those same mechanisms have also held me back professionally: conflict-avoidance, perfectionism, passivity, passive-aggression, internalized feelings of not being good or smart enough, and a lineup of mental health issues. But Brené's work around the four skill sets of courage has been deeply transformative. I still have my old issues. Many will be with me for my entire life. But now I have new skills, practices, and tools that really do help.”
